Story-in-a-box

PhotographPhotography has always been a passion of Sally’s. She has traveled to the ends of the earth to take unique pictures. Her next assignment is in Greece. While she is there her goal is not only to take pictures but to bring home many exceptional souvenirs.

After a long plane ride, Sally heads to the airport’s gift shop where she finds an assortment of locally made dishes. She finds a unique plate that would be perfect for her sister. Her next stop is to join a group of photographers at a very old village on the side of a huge mountain. While she is there, Sally stays in a one of a kind house. The house has a lot of character with two stories and a balcony with an amazing view.

Next, Sally adventures to Kalamaria where she hopes to take many pictures of the people in their day to day lives. It is very cold in Kalamaria so Sally decides to buy a velvet blanket to keep her warm. While she was there she tried many new foods. Sally’s favorite were the locally grown chest nuts that were sold in little glass jars.

Later on during her trip, Sally decided to go to a flea market in hopes of finding some souvenirs. The first thing that catches her eye are two statues. She likes the statue that is painted because the person is holding a drum. The second statue is of a person made of dark smooth wood and is clothed in robes. Sally decides to buy both of the statues for her parents. After walking around the flea market for several hours Sally comes across an assortment of stamps. She is drawn to the one that has a dragon on the top. Since Sally spent a lot of money at the market she decided to go site seeing. While she was walking she came across a little girl with blue eyes and olive color skin. She was caring a ruler on her way to school. Running after the girl was a little boy who was caring a wallet that the little girl must have left behind.

Sally really enjoyed her time in Greece and found many amazing souvenirs. She took many pictures that will be published and. Sally hopes there are many more trips in the future.
